Transforming contract pains into cash gains

Problem

Vayu is a fintech platform that lets you manage revenue and contracts in one place. Previously, this required juggling multiple tools and specialized knowledge: SAP, Salesforce, Stripe, Azure, AWS... Finance teams were stuck in manual, error-prone processes—monthly closing took 15 days, billing was full of mistakes. Vayu lets accounting teams manage all these tools through one beautifully designed platform, intuitively, without prior training.

challenge

Initially, my task was a quick sprint: design a no-code contract creation tool in 2 weeks that we could test as MVP. The result exceeded Vayu team's expectations and we started full collaboration—redesigning the platform, implementing a new design system (including training their internal dev team), and jointly developing the product. I started acting as Design Lead—working directly with founders and bouncing ideas as an experienced sparring partner.

Results and Achievements

Vayu is now one of the leading revenue management platforms for B2B tech companies. The redesigned platform delivered massive improvements: monthly closing dropped from 15 days to just 3-4 days (75% reduction), revenue reporting became 75% faster, and we eliminated billing errors through seamless contract-to-invoice flow.

Creating a proven product with great UX helped raise $7 million in seed funding co-led by Flint Capital and The Garage. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with founders—fintech industry veterans (ex. PayPal, Melio)—helped me gain deep fintech knowledge and was an incredibly developing experience.
