I always adjust it to the project timeline. I start with a kick-off meeting to collect essential information and set clear goals.

For alignment, I may run a focused workshop on MVP priorities. Then I rapidly build testable solutions—Figma prototypes or functional PoCs—that deliver actionable insights with each iteration.

In today's world of advanced AI tools and rapid prototyping, there's no reason to delay getting your product in front of the people who matter.

I include them in the design process as early as possible.

Ideally, I want to discuss the tech stack, preferred libraries, technical requirements and constraints before designing first screens. This can tremendously speed up the work, reduce development time, and help avoid some hiccups along the way.

I also keep my finger on the pulse during the development process — always ready to provide more assets, QA help and necessary changes.
